SFC Adam Ebert came to The United States Army Band "Pershings Own" in 2006 after having served 10 yrs with the United States Navy Band as Assistant Principal Clarinetist. He was appointed Assistant Principal Clarinetist of the United States Army Concert Band in 2007 and has continued to perform as concertmaster and as a soloist with the Band on numerous occasions. Ebert grew up in Plainview, New York and attended the Juilliard Pre-College Division in New York City. A longtime student of the late Kalmen Opperman of New York City, he participated in 3 RCA recordings with Richard Stoltzman and the Kalmen Opperman Clarinet Choir and performed with the ensemble in Carnegie Recital Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In addition, he has performed with the Brooklyn Philharmonic, Opera Orchestra of New York, Manhatten Philharmonic, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, and the Merrick Symphony. Since living in the Washington, D.C., area, Ebert has performed as Principal Clarinetist with the Fairfax Symphony, Annapolis Symphony, and the Fairfax Choral Society. He is also a member of the Washington Winds Woodwind Quintet.
