SSG Charles W. Giannelli has played Tuba in the US Army Band since 2002. Prior to joining the Army Band, Charles received a Masters Degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music. In addition to supporting missions in Arlington National Cemetary, Giannelli is a member of The United States Army Tuba Quartet, as well as the Producer for the Ceremonial Brass Quintet. Staying close to his roots, Charles returns to New Jersey every year to play the Nutcracker with the American Ballet Theatre.
