MSG Aaron Lovely has performed in orchestras throughout the United States and Canada. He has also performed as a member of several chamber ensembles to include the Monumental Brass of Washington, D.C., and the Lone Star Brass of West Texas with performances around the globe and two CD recordings. In 1996 he worked as a school band director for Greenwood, Texas for 3 years. He served as the interim conductor and artistic director of the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale for the year prior to his enlisting in the Army in 2001.

Presently, in addition to his duties with The United States Army Band, Lovely performs in the Washington area as a freelance musician. He is the Tuba instructor for Washington Adventist University and is on the faculty of Frederick Community College where he teaches low brass and is the director of the FCC Wind Ensemble in Frederick, MD. He lives in College Park, Maryland with his wife Megan and sons, Graham and Keaton.
