MSG Kerry Wilkerson is currently a member of The U.S. Army Chorus, and is also their Enlisted Director.
Wilkerson has sung professionally with the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants, the U.S. Army Chorus, the Robert Shaw Choral Institute Singers, and the Robert Shaw Carnegie Hall Chorus, in many of the most prestigious concert halls throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has performed as a bass soloist in 25 oratorios with 15 organizations and has 7 operatic roles to his credit. He is well-known to Washington, D.C., audiences through his solo recitals and regular guest appearances with community-based choruses and orchestras.
Also an accomplished conductor, Wilkerson serves as Assistant Director of Music Ministries at Vienna Presbyterian Church in Vienna, Virginia, where he oversees a growing music ministry for teenagers, including a Youth Orchestra & Chorus, which he conducts. He has served as choral director at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and as an adjunct professor of voice at George Mason University, teaching voice majors at the undergraduate and graduate level. Wilkerson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Bachelor of Music) and George Mason University (Master of Arts).
