MSG Michael Ford, a native of Tennessee, is a graduate of Austin Peay University and a favorite soloist in the Washington, D.C., area. He has performed major roles with such organizations as the Arlington Metropolitan Chorus, New Dominion Chorale, Washington Bach Consort and Paul Hill Chorale. He has also appeared regionally with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Knoxville Opera and Symphony, and the Brevard Opera. Ford has won several competitions including the Annapolis Vocal Competition. He became of member of the Navy Sea Chanters in 1989, and jumped ship in 1995 when he became a member of The U.S. Army Chorus, where he serves as First Tenor Section Leader.
