SGM Gregory Lowery joined the Army in 1989 upon winning a position in The U.S. Army Chorus, the Nation’s premier full-time men’s chorus. Through his 28-year career, he has entertained heads of state, been part of several state funerals for former U.S. Presidents, and is regularly requested to perform for major diplomatic missions for our military’s leadership. He was part of the funeral and interment services for former presidents Ronald Reagan and Gerald R. Ford; was featured soloist at the opening of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library; and performed for the dedication ceremony of the George W. Bush Presidential library and the re-dedication ceremony of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library. Since 2013 he has served as the enlisted leader of the band’s mixed-voice ensemble, The U.S. Army Voices.
