American Holiday Festival

Deck the halls! The annual kick-off concert for the Washington, DC, holiday season performed by the talented musicians of The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” will be presented at DAR Constitution Hall: December 1-3, 2017! An annual tradition for many, this concert is a great way to start your holiday preparations. Come celebrate the season with The U.S. Army Orchestra, Herald Trumpets, and Army Band vocalists!

  • Saturday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 3 at 3:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. Doors will open for seating at 1 hour prior to show time.
  2. Duration: This show will last approximately 90 minutes with NO intermission.

TICKETS

FREE Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY while supplies last starting on Wednesday, November 1, beginning at 10:00 am (EDT). Due to the high no-show rate for free events, more tickets are distributed than there are seats in the hall for each performance. (There are 3000 seats available per show!)

All seating for these performances is General Admission, which means that none of these tickets is for an assigned seat. Patrons with tickets are seated on a first-come, first-served basis at 1 hour prior to show time. No tickets are required at 15 minutes prior to advertised start times.

GROUP TICKETS

All concerts are open to group reservations (the definition of a group is 20 or more people). To request a group reservation, please email Jen Maly in our Marketing/Public Affairs Office: jennifer.s.maly.civ@mail.mil. Tickets can be reserved now.

In your email, please include:

  • Your name
  • Group name
  • Date and time of the show you are requesting
  • Number of tickets
  • Name of group contact person
  • Phone number of person ordering tickets (contact person)

Your group ticket request will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Within 72 hours, you will receive an email confirmation that we have recorded your request. If you get an “out of office” auto-reply, please expect email confirmation to arrive 72 hours following the return date in the message.

A link to download and print group tickets will be emailed to requestors in November.

ACCESSIBILITY/ACCOMMODATION

DAR Constitution Hall has wheelchair-accessible seating that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations can be made in advance. The wheelchair ramp is located on the D Street side of the hall. More info at: http://www.dar.org/constitution-hall/visitor-services
