Founded in 1922 by order of General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing (then Army Chief of Staff), “Pershing’s Own” celebrates this special 95th year milestone with a 90 minute concert with no intermission. This performance will mark the final concert under the baton and leadership of our 10th Leader and Commander COL Timothy J. Holtan and will feature performances by all of the unit’s distinct musical elements, as well as historical highlights that herald the musical and military heritage of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own.”
