The official end of the Army Band’s summer concert series culminates with the spirited Tchaikovsky’s “Overture 1812” on the slope of the Washington Monument Grounds—complete with the cannons of The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Presidential Salute Battery.

Spirit of America is the inspiring story of Soldiers past and present, generations of men and women who, for more than 230 years, in times of war and peace, have left families and friends behind to serve their country as Soldiers in the United States Army. Spirit of America is a celebration of the history, strength and spirit of our nation. Free tickets are required.

The U.S. Army Concert Band, Chorus, Strings, and Herald Trumpets perform community concerts in honor of the great people of the City of New York. Free tickets are required for the Avery Fisher Hall concert only.

Dec 10-12 | 2010 The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” celebrates the holiday season with its “A Holiday Festival” concert at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. This concert features The U.S. Army Orchestra, The U.S. Army Chorus, and vocalists from The U.S. Army Band Downrange. Free tickets are required.

Jan 26-29 | 2011 The Conference features concerts, recitals, exhibits, master classes, and lectures by leading low brass authorities from around the world.

3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20 | 2011 Several major elements of “Pershing’s Own” perform several genres of music to include jazz, pop, classical, and show tunes in celebration of the 1922 founding of the premier musicial organization of the U.S. Army. Free tickets are required. Ticketing information will be available at a later date.

March 16-19 | 2011 The Eastern Trombone Workshop (ETW) has become one of the largest annual events for trombone in the world. All events are free and open to the public, to include master classes, recitals, concerts, and networking opportunities with some of the world’s finest trombone players.
