The U.S. Army Band

From Washington, DC, the U.S. Army Concert Band, Chorus, and Herald Trumpets will present three community concerts in Central Illinois. With patriotic and popular selections from John Williams, George Gershwin, and John Philip Sousa, and up-beat jazz saxophone and Broadway choral features, come hear the premier musical organization of the U.S. Army and leave feeling good about the flag!

Peoria Civic Center Theater

Tickets are free and are available only at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office (201 SW Jefferson Ave) beginning Friday, March 21 at 10 a.m. Patrons must request tickets in person at the box office, and there is a four ticket limit per person. For more information, please contact the Peoria Civic Center Box Office at 309.673.3200. Hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

The concert is free of charge, but reserved tickets are required. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning on Monday, February 25 at 10 am. Stop by the BCPA Box Office at 110 E Mulberry Street or call 866.686.9541 for tickets.

Colonel Thomas Rotondi, Jr.

The organization’s eighth leader and commander, Colonel Thomas Rotondi, Jr., is a native of Chicago Heights, Illinois, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois. While at Millikin, he was active in Phi Mu Alpha, the men’s professional music fraternity, and was selected for Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Fraternity.
