The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” celebrates the holiday season with its “A Holiday Festival” concert, December 12-14 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. This concert features The U.S. Army Orchestra, The U.S. Army Chorus, and vocalists from The U.S. Army Band Downrange.

This year’s special guest artist is operatic mezzo-soprano, Jennifer Larmore. Ms. Larmore is an outstanding American mezzo-soprano who has parlayed operatic success in Europe into international stardom. Known for excelling in the coloratura roles of the Baroque and bel canto, she has also added Romantic and Contemporary repertoire. Since the beginning of her career, she has recorded over 70 CDs to date, which has earned her the distinction of being the most recorded mezzo of all time.

Ticket Information

All tickets for this year’s A Holiday Festival, December 12-14 have been distributed. All Group tickets have been mailed out. If you have not received your group tickets, please call 703-696-3718 and leave a message and a number where you can be reached.

On each day-of-show, a stand-by ticket line will form 1 hour prior to each show at the DAR box office entrance on C Street. All available seats will be turned over to patrons without tickets at 15 minutes prior to each show’s start. We cannot guarantee anyone a seat; however, any available seats will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Free general admission (not assigned seating) tickets may be picked up in person at the following locations and times. Tickets are available in all locations on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last (max 4-tickets per person):

Group Ticket Requests

As of close of business on October 21, all group-designated tickets have been requested. No more requests for group tickets can be taken. If you have received confirmation that your request has been approved, your group tickets will be mailed out by the second week of November.

General admission tickets (4 per person) are still available at the aforementioned locations and times beginning November 1 and until all tickets have been distributed.

Disclosure Notice

Based on a historic, high no-show rate for this FREE event, more tickets are distributed than there are seats. Seats will be given to patrons with tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis. Outside doors open 1 hour 30 minutes prior to show time; house opens 1 hour prior. We strongly suggest that you arrive with all members of your party before entering DAR. Ticket holders should be seated 15 minutes prior to show time. Empty seats will be released to non-ticketholders at 10 minutes prior to show time.
