Patriotic gems like: America the Beautiful, God Bless the USA, Battle Hymn; Spirituals: Ain't a that Good News, Free at Last, Now Look Away; tunes from the Broadway stage: Get Me to the Church, Hallelujah, Muddy Water; and popular songs you know by heart: Unforgettable, You've Got a Friend, and a medley of John Denver tunes.
International Jazz Day Celebration

The U.S. Army Blues will celebrate International Jazz Day with a performance of popular big band tunes! The Blues are committed to educational outreach, and will feature local award-winning students in an opening act from 2:40-3:15 followed by remarks from popular XM jazz radio personality Dick Golden. Doors open at 2:30. The U.S. Army Blues will begin their set at 3:15.

The winner of the 2017 Young Artist Competition, Mairead Flory, will be featured performing the finale to the Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, Op. 107 alongside two American orchestral classics: Copland's Appalachian Spring and George Gershwin's American In Paris.
