Craig Knox

Craig Knox is Principal Tuba of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and founding member of the Center City Brass Quintet. He was previously Principal Tuba of the New World and Sacramento symphonies, Acting Principal of the San Francisco Symphony, and has performed with the Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit orchestras. He has recorded five acclaimed albums with the CCBQ, a low-brass album with his PSO section, and a newly-released a solo album. He has performed as soloist with the Tokyo Symphony, and will premiere a concerto by Andre Previn with the PSO in March 2012.
