Biography

Henderson State University, a public liberal arts college, is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, a small town on I-30 midway between Texarkana and Little Rock. The Henderson State University Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble consists of tuba and euphonium majors, minors, and enthusiasts from Arkansas as well as northern and eastern Texas. Under the direction of Dr. Jamie Lipton and Mr. Todd Cranson, the ensemble performs a wide variety of repertoire and gives several concerts each year. In the past, they have traveled to and performed at conferences in Corpus Christi, TX; Conway, AR; and Baylor, TX.
