Biography

SFC Alicia Eisenstadt, a native from St. Cloud, Minnesota, began playing trumpet at the age of 12. She attended St. Cloud State University for her bachelor’s degree and performed regularly in the area. During this time, Eisenstadt performed as a featured soloist with the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra and the St. Cloud State University Wind Ensemble. In 2013 Eisenstadt graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with her master’s degree. Eisenstadt performed with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, Evanston Symphony, and freelanced regularly in the area. Eisenstadt won the Chicago College of Performing Arts Concerto Competition in 2013, premiering the Plog Triple Concerto for trumpet, horn and piano. Eisendstadt’s teachers include Channing Philbrick, Mark Ridenour and Albert Moore.
