Biography

Hailing from Cypress, TX, SSG Claire Bradley joined The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” in 2022. Before joining the band, Claire earned a Bachelor of Music in horn performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music in horn performance from the University of North Texas. Claire has worked as a freelance musician in Rochester, NY, and DFW metroplex, performing with groups such as the McKinney Philharmonic. While at the University of North Texas, Claire worked as a teaching assistant for chamber music studies and member of the Center Woodwind Quintet. Throughout her career, Claire has performed in a variety of ensembles ranging from standards such as wind ensemble, orchestra, and chamber groups to the more obscure such as baroque chamber music, jazz, and film recording orchestra. Claire has gone out of her way to explore the French horn in all forms both physically and stylistically by performing in several jazz groups, baroque chamber music on natural horn, and a chamber group on Wagner tuba.
