Biography

Jennifer Maly is the director of marketing and public affairs for The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own.” She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, and has lived in Northern Virginia for most of her life. Prior to working for The U.S. Army Band, Ms. Maly held communications and marketing positions in several non-profit organizations and trade associations in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, to include The Air Transport Association, The Faxfair Corporation, The Special Libraries Association, and Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety. She has done executive recruiting, handled media relations for major corporate entities, worked as publicity manager for Time-Life Trade Publications, and was a production manager, desktop publisher, and editor in the Aviation Newsletter division at McGraw Hill. She and her husband, a bass vocalist in The U.S. Army Chorus, live in Arlington, VA, with their three children.
