Biography

Elizabeth (Elli) McGinness is the Principal Flutist of The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own," of which she has been a member since 2009. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (BM) and Southern Methodist University (MM). She has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and is an original member of the National Chamber Winds. McGinness and her husband, John, reside in Northern Virginia with their two young boys.
